    When you click on the “SIGN UP” button provided in the section of “FREE” plan then you will be redirected to the “Sign up” page.

    Types of questions in this plan are involved where all languages are supported (Unicode). Questions like Randomize & sort answer choices are included.

    15 types of Preset visual themes are there with the Survey completion progress bar where Auto-numbering for pages & questions, Validate/require survey responses, fully accessible & 508 compliant are also included. This plan comes with Printable PDF version.

    After a certain date or response or response quota reach, survey gets automatically close. This plan comes with visualize feature like “Rich Media”. Where you can add videos and images to your survey. There is Easy-to-use drag and drop question editor, Branching/Skip Logic.

  • Registration

       New User Sign up

        

      STEP 1: Click on provided “New user Sign up” link and then you will get redirected to the “Sign up” page.
      STEP 2: On “Sign up” page, you will find “Sign up” form.

              

      STEP 1.1: You have to fill detail in the provided field “Company Name”.
      STEP 1.2: You have to fill detail in the provided field “Enter your contact Email”.
      STEP 1.3: You have to fill detail in the provided field “Choose a password
      STEP 1.4: You have to fill detail in the provided field “Retype password
      STEP 1.5: After filling all the provided fields, click on “Sign up” button provided in the sign up form.

       By doing this, you will get registered in to the website.

        

      STEP 3: If you click on the provided link i.e. “Sign In” specified on the “Sign up” form then you will get redirected                       to the sign in page.

    Survey For Business use one of several login flows, depending on the user preferences. This guide takes you step-by-step through the login flow for the website.



    Open ID provides a safe, elegant and easy way for you to login into our website without having to fill in a registration form. You just have to have an account to one OpenID provider, a Google account or Facebook account, and you will login into Survey for Business with this account.

     

    There are three methods to get sign in through Google plus Login, Facebook Login and through manually i.e. Email Login.

     

    Quick Start

    In this doc we will guide you through the login flow step-by-step and explain each step clearly, this will help you if you are trying to integrate Survey for Business into an existing login system.

     Login into Our Website with Your Facebook Account

     

    STEP 1: You have to click on provided “Sign in with Facebook” button.
    STEP 2: If you are already logged in to your Facebook account then you will get redirected to given below page.

    Note: Incase if you aren’t logged in to your Facebook account then you will get redirected to the Facebook login page, where you have to fill your details like associated email address and password.

    Login into Our Website with Your Google Account

    STEP 1: You have to click on provided “Sign in with Google+” button.

     

    STEP 2: If you are already logged in to your Google account then you will get redirected to given below page.

    Note: Incase if you aren’t logged in to your Google account then you will get redirected to Google sign-in page, where you have to fill your details like associated email address and password.

     

    STEP 2.1: If you click on the “Accept” button then you will get redirected to the “My Account” page.
    STEP 2.2: If you click on the “Cancel” button then you will get redirected back to the “Sign In” page.

    Login into the Website with Existing Email Address & Password

     


    STEP 1: You have to enter your registered Username (Email Address) and Password.
    STEP 2: Click on provided “Sign In” button.

     

    NOTE: These options “Sign In with Google+” and “Sign In with Facebook” are also available on the “Sign Up” section.

     

    NOTE: If you check the “Remember me” check box then your password will get saved with our website. Next time whenever you will get sign in then as you enter your Username (Email Address), Password wills automatically gets appears. You just have to click on “Sign In” button.

  • Forgot Password

    We can help you to reset your password using your username (email address) linked to your account.

     


    STEP 1: Click on provided “Forgot password?” link. You will get redirected to the “Forgot Password” page.

     

    STEP 1.1:  You have to enter your email address in provided “EMAIL” field.

    STEP 1.2: You have to click on “submit” button then you will receive a mail on your registered email address having the auto generated password.

    STEP 1.3: If you click on “Back” button then you will get back to the “Sign In” page.


    General Preferences

  • Change the language of your account

    You can change general settings of your account by clicking on general preference section of account summary.



    You can change language settings to use Survey For Business in your preferred language. In doing so you will receive billing receipt in the language you choose.
     
    To change the default language on your account:
     
    Click your username in the upper-right corner of your account.
    Click My Account.
    Scroll down to the GENERAL PREFERENCES section.
    Click Edit next to Language.
    Choose your preferred language from the dropdown menu.

    Click on Submit button. 


     

  • Changing time zone

    You can change time zone as per your region by following below given steps :
     
    Click your username in the upper-right corner of your account.
    Click My Account.
    Scroll down to the GENERAL PREFERENCES section.
    Click Edit next to time zone.
    Choose your preferred time zone from the dropdown menu.
    Click on Submit button. 

  • Changing survey alert preferences

    By turning on survey alerts you can get email updates whenever you have new responses to your survey. We email you:
    When a survey's first response is recorded.
    A daily overview of each of your active surveys, including the number of new responses since the last notification and how long the survey has been open.


     
    If survey alert is turned off then no emails updates would be sent to your email address. To be notified each time to get an individual response, we have two email alert preferences as shown below" 
    • Turn ON survey alerts for all existing surveys
    • Turn ON survey alerts for all new surveys
     
    Survey Alerts can only be sent to the main email address on the account. The email address, language, and time zone for Survey Alerts come from your Account Summary page.
     

  • Survey For Business newsletter subscription

    From this section you can subscribe and get most out of your survey for business. 


     

    There are following two options as shown in below screenshot - 
    1) Subscribe me" By clicking on this option we’ll let you know about latest news, updates and special announcements delivered to your inbox. 
    2) Unsubscribe me" By selecting this option you will not receive any information emails from Survey for business.
     

    Managing Account

  • Account Summary

    You can change your email, password and other account preferences for Survey For Business, log in and go to My Account page.Below are given subsections of account summary page" 
     
    Account details" This shows plan type of user. There are four types of plan as Basic, Select, Gold and Platinum. Here below given image shows the plan type of user as Basic. 
     
     
    In order to get upgraded into other plans, you simply needs to click on ‘upgrade’ button. Page is redirected showing four types of plans each with different features. By clicking on upgrade button of any plan, paypal payment gateway is redirected. After making successful payment you can get upgraded into any selected plan.

    Log in Details - This section shows your email address and password which you use during signing into your account on survey for business.


     
    Email updates are sent to the email address listed in ‘My account’ section of your profile.

     

  • Contact Information

    This section shows your contact information name, email address and company name which was filled by you during registration.



    To change your personal contact information please clicking on ‘edit’ button, a pop up is being displayed from where you can update information and click on given ‘submit’ button.In this section, you can do the following:
    Edit the billing contact's first and last name.
    Edit the billing email address.
    Edit the company name.



     

  • Change Password

    To change your password, log in and go to the My Account page:

    Click on the username drop-down menu located in the upper-right hand corner of your account.
    Choose My Account.
    Make sure you're in the Account Summary tab.
    Click on edit button on log in details.

    By clicking on ‘edit’ button popup window is redirected for changing password.


     

  • Linking account with Facebook and Google plus

    We at survey for business also facilitate you to link your facebook and google plus account through our survey site. Through this functionality you can login into survey for business through facebook and google plus.

     
    By clicking on ‘link account’ button of Facebook or google plus, login page of same will get redirected. After logging in, a pop up window is being displayed asking for permission to view your email address and basic profile info. If you are already logged into facebook or Google plus account then simply permission page is redirected.
     

     
    You can click on ‘accept’ button on Google plus or ‘okay’ on facebook account which can link both respective accounts with your account of survey for business. In doing so, your account at survey for business gets redirected. 
    You can also remove link from facebook and google plus account by clicking on ‘remove’ button.


     
     





     

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    My Billing

  • Billing Details

    To access your Billing Details:
     
    Sign in to your Survey For Business account.
    Click your username in the upper-right corner.
    Click My Account from the drop-down menu.
    Click the Billing Details tab.
     
    This section comprises of your billing profile information, billing history, payment information and contact information. Following are given subsections of billing information – 
     
    Billing Profile – This shows your account type, billing frequency, next billing date and amount to be paid along with an ‘upgrade’ button as shown in below screenshot. You can also upgrade your account from this section as well by clicking on ‘upgrade’ button.
     


    Billing History – Your billing history contains a record of your payment transactions.This section shows information of bill paid by you for reference along with serial number, invoice number, date of payment, status and total amount paid.

     

    My Survey

  • How to edit a survey

    As you click on “My survey” section, all surveys get displayed in grid form with following fields:
     


     
    Title" This column is showing the name of survey.
    Modified - This column is showing the date when survey was created.
    Responses" This column is showing the number of responses which are given by other users.
    Actions - On this column user can perform the following actions:

     

            a. Edit

     

            b. Collect Responses
            c. Analyze Result

    a)  Edit" As you click on edit button, design Survey page will get displayed on this page you can edit the survey by following options:
                                                
     
    Builder: When you click on builder section seven styles of questions are being displayed. You can select any style from here.

                                                 
                                                 

    Text Box - As you click on “Text Box” style, text box question page will get displayed.When you enter your question and click on “Done” button your question will get added in the questionnaire list. On this page you can add the logo for your survey by Add logo link. As you click on “Exit this survey” button .You will get redirected to the next page.
                                              

    Single Choice - As you click on “Single choice” style, Single option page is being displayed. As you enter your question and click on “Done” button .Your question will get added in the questionnaire list .Where user can select only single answer from given questions.
     



    Multiple Choices - As you click on “Multiple Choice” style, you can add multiple options for any questions. As you enter your question and click on “Done” button .Your question will get added in the questionnaire list. Where user can select multiple answers from given questions.



    Matrix - In “Matrix” style question entered by you can be answered by user in terms of points 1 to 10.



    Matrix Performance - As you click on “Matrix Performance” style .You enter your question and click on “Done” button. Your question will get added in the questionnaire list .Where user can give his/her response by selecting radio button of any given options like Great, Good, Average, Minimum.



    Star Rating - In “Star Rating” style question entered by you can be answered through star rating.



    As you mouse hover on any particular question then Edit, Move, Copy and Delete options will get displayed, by clicking on which their respective actions can be performed.


     

  • Question Bank

     As you click on “Question Bank” option the list of already added industries will get displayed.



    As you click on any industry from the list, templates of that industry will get displayed.



    By clicking on any template of that industry, the already added questions will get displayed.



    As you hover cursor of your mouse over any question then “Add” button will get appeared for that question. By clicking on add button you can add that question for your survey.

  • Themes

     When you click on themes section then following two types of themes are being displayed.

    Standard" By clicking on standard you can select any theme for survey for business from anemone, aqua, berries, chestnut, denim etc.

    Custom" This section of themes facilitates you to add new themes in survey for business.



    By clicking on ‘add new theme’ name, color and typography tabs will get displayed.



    Name" By clicking on this tab, text box is being displayed with ‘done’ and ‘cancel’ button. You can enter name of new theme and save it by clicking on ‘done’ button. 



    Color" By clicking on this tab, colors for survey title, question text and answer text can be selected from given color chart. Below image shows color selection for survey title, similarly you can select colors for remaining two i.e question and answer text.



    Typography" By clicking on this tab, you can select text size( 1 smallest to 5 largest) and style(bold, italic and underline) for survey title, question text and answer text. As you click on survey title then following screen is being displayed.



    Similarly you can select text size and font style for remaining two options(question text and answer text).


     

  • Options

     By clicking on the “Options” section then sub section will get expanded having the options like Logo, Survey Title, Per Page Question,User Form Control,Footer Area and Thank You Message.

     Logo - By clicking on the “Logo” options, the user can switch ON/OFF the logo for the survey question(s).

    Survey Title - By clicking on the “Survey Title” options, the user can switch ON/OFF the Survey title for the survey question(s).

    Per Page Question - From this section, the user can decide number of questions to be added in a survey.



    After entering the number of questions to be added, you have to click on provided “Save” button.



    User Form Control

    In this section if user choose “At End of Survey” radio button, then the user form control section will get reflected at the end of the questionnaire.

    In this section if user choose “At Start of Survey” radio button, then the user form control section will get reflect in the starting of the questionnaire.



    Footer Area - In this section, if user enters any data then it reflects at bottom of the page.



    after entering the statics/data into the provided “Footer Area” section, you have to click on provided “Save” button.

    Thank you Message - In this section, if user enters any data/quotes then it is going to reflect after the completing of the questionnaire.



    After entering the statics/quotes into the provided “Thank You Message” section, you have to click on provided “Save” button.

    This section facilitates you to choose any one survey from the list of active and freeze surveys. Calendar is being displayed through which you can select dates for keeping that survey active on your mobile.

    Creating a New Survey

  • How to create a survey

    As you click on any of the given two “Create Survey” buttons, create survey page will get displayed.



    On the create survey page you can view the two options of create the survey.
       Create a New Survey
       Use an expert survey template



    Create A New Survey " If you select the “Create a New Survey” option, you need to enter “Title”, select “Industry” and “Language”. After clicking on “Continue” button you will get redirected to the “Design Survey” page.




    Design Survey - You can design your survey by following these methods:



    Builder: When you click on builder section seven styles of questions are being displayed. You can select any style from here.

    Text Box - As you click on “Text Box” style, text box question page will get displayed.When you enter your question and click on “Done” button your question will get added in the questionnaire list.     Single Choice - As you click on “Single choice” style, Single option page is being displayed. As you enter your question and click on “Done” button .Your question will get added in the questionnaire list .Where user can select only single answer from given questions.
     



    Multiple Choices - As you click on “Multiple Choice” style, you can add multiple options for any questions. As you enter your question and click on “Done” button .Your question will get added in the questionnaire list. Where user can select multiple answers from given questions.



    Matrix - In “Matrix” style question entered by you can be answered by user in terms of points 1 to 10.

    After clicking on “Freeze Survey” collect responses page will get redirected.



    We have provided 'unfreeze' functionality by which you can edit your survey till the time any response is received. That is by clicking on 'unfreeze' button of my survey page you can make changes in survey, but on getting any single response survey will get freeze and you won't be able to edit anything on it.

    Use an expert survey template - On selecting an expert survey template, list of industries is being displayed from which you can select any industry.



    On right side you can see templates of industries selected by you. On that template you will find a 'preview summary' link by clicking on which preview of selected template will get displayed.



    If template formed is as per your will then click on 'continue' button, in doing so template will be saved and design page gets redirected.



    But if you want to cancel the template simply click on 'cross' button given on top right corner, by this created template gets cancelled and is not saved.



    For change design of survey you can follow above methods described under section “Create a new survey” after clicking on “Freeze Survey” collect responses page will get redirected.


     

    Collecting Responses

  • How to get responses from other users


    Collect Response - As you click on “Collect Response” option, collect response page is being displayed. From this page by clicking on “Customize” button you will get the option to edit your survey link.



    After you click on the “Customize” button you will get the “Create Link” section from where you can edit the link of survey. You can edit the survey link provided and then click on the “Done” button. By doing this, your survey link will get saved.



    •    By clicking on the “Add Credit” option of “Email” section pop up is being displayed with different plans to be purchased.
     


    •    As you click on “Email” section through this section you can select group and number of members for sending them link by email.



     •    By clicking on manual data entry link, a pop up window is being displayed from where you can upload CSV file with list of users. After uploading and sending the same, emails get delivered to respective users from the CSV file.


     
    •    By clicking on the “Add Credit” option of “SMS” section pop up is being displayed with different plans to be purchased.




    •    As you click on “SMS” section through this section you can select group and number of members for sending them link by SMS.



    •    By clicking on manual data entry link, a pop up window is being displayed from where you can upload CSV file with list of users. After uploading and sending the same, SMS get delivered to respective users from the CSV file.



    •    As you click on “Social Media” section through this section you can post the survey link on face book, Twitter and Google plus.









    Analyzing Results

  • Analysis Tutorials

    Analyze Result" As you click on “Analyze Result” option, analyze result page     will get displayed with following sections:



    Survey Industry - Here you can view the industry of the survey.

    Survey Name - Here you can view the survey name and copy the URL to view it on other browser also.

    Created Date - Here you can view the created date of the survey.

    Expiry On" This option tells the user that how much time is left for the survey to get over.

    SMS Sent" Here you can view the total number of survey which you have sent by SMS.

    Email Sent" Here you can view the total number of survey which you have sent by emails.

    Responds - Here you can view the total number of survey which you have sent by SMS and emails and total numbers of responses you got from them.

    •    By Clicking on the “Question Summaries” option you can see the responses in graphical format. The graph will be shown for all the questions apart from the questions that require answers in text.





    •    By clicking on the “Individual Responses”, total number of user’s responses will get displayed in grid form with details as Name, Email, Age Group, Location, Contact Number, and View Detail along with the view button.



    •    By clicking on view button of any user, responses corresponding to that user will get displayed.

    My Dashboard

  • Organizing Email Contacts

    By contacts integration you can easily send surveys to groups of contacts you create.To access your Contacts, sign in and click your username in the top-right corner of your account. Click on my account followed by address book.

    From this section you can add contacts and import multiple contacts to your address book of your account in survey for business. Groups created by you will get displayed in left side panel with options to export and delete group.

    Add single contact " You can add contacts of other users by entering their name and email address in given fields in existing groups or by creating new group. For creating new group simply you need to click on checkbox ‘create new group’ and enter its name. By clicking on ‘add contacts’ button, newly added contact gets saved in address book

    .

     

    Import multiple contacts" We provide contacts importing functionality from where you can import multiple contacts through following options" 
     
    • Yahoo/Gmail" After clicking on yahoo and gmail, ‘next’ button is being displayed by clicking on which contacts can be imported from there to your account at survey for business. Contacts being imported can be shown to be listed in groups by selecting from dropdown list of group or by creating new group. 


    • .CSV file" By selecting csv file option and uploading the same you can import contacts to your account of survey for business. The file should contain columns with fields name and email only. 
     

  • Organizing SMS Contacts

    From this section you can add contacts and import multiple contacts to your SMS book of your account in survey for business.

    SMS Groups created by you will get displayed in left side panel with options to export and delete group. The two types by which contacts can be created are given as follows" 

    Add single contact" You can add contacts of other users by entering their name and contact number in given fields in existing groups or by creating new group. For creating new group simply you need to click on checkbox ‘create new group’ and enter its name. By clicking on ‘add contacts’ button, newly added contact gets saved in SMS book.



    Import multiple contacts - By selecting CSV file option and uploading the same you can import contacts to your account of survey for business. The file should contain columns with name and contact number only.

    Multiple choice answer type of questions is a good way of asking online survey questions. Such questions require the responded to select one or several answers from the provided answers. The choice of answers to such questions may be in the form of a matrix, dropdown or a matrix of drop down menus.

    Matrix

    If you would like the respondents to use the same kind of measurement when replying to various related questions in the questionnaire, you should use a grid or matrix of questions. This grid may be set to either collect a single response per row or to collect multiple answers. Alternatively, you may also convert the grid into a rating scale.

    Dropdown

    This is the best suited format to use if you are trying to save space, but are using multiple answer questions in your survey.

    Matrix of dropdown menus

    This option is ideal for you if you would like the respondents to apply a similar measurement to various related questions and also provide a list of choices, within the same survey questionnaire. With this option, you may either require one response per row or set every question to have an independent response.

    Page break

    To include a page break in your survey, you should drag and drop it to the survey. This may be used to either break up a long survey or to organize and display the survey questions by the title.

    New page

    This is used to include a new page on the survey questionnaire. Alternatively, you may also drag a page and drop it into the survey any time you like. To break up a long survey, you should consider using new pages. Additionally, new pages may be used to organize and display the questionnaire by topic.

    Intro page

    Every survey should have an introduction at the top. The introduction part of the survey is meant to introduce it to the respondents and give them an idea of what they will encounter in the survey.

    Image a/b

    Get to know how your respondents act toward various images. Provide the respondents with the images to be compared and then ascertain the percentage of the respondents who viewed each image.

    Text a/b

    This is meant to get an idea of how the respondents react to various text passages. Provide the respondents with the passages you would like to compare and later ascertain the percentage of respondents who viewed the different passages.

    Text

    Text passages should be included at the top of the survey page. Alternatively, they should appear at the bottom of the page.

    Image

    To insert an image on your survey, you can either upload it from your computer to our website or specify the URL to the image you would like to use on our website.

    Date / time

    You can ask respondents to enter data regarding date and time.

    Contact information

    This type of survey questions are used to collect information regarding the contact details of the respondents, such as address, name, phone number and email.

    Single textbox

    A single textbox should be used in a survey questionnaire if the person offering the survey requires a single numerical or short text response to the question. With such boxes, you can specify the length of the answer you need. You may also require and validate the number value or date format you require.

    Comment box

     

    The essay or comment box should only be used to collect data using open-ended questions. They are meant to collect written feedback.

    Multiple textboxes

    If you are looking forward to getting more than one numerical or short text answers to a certain survey question, you should use multiple textboxes. With such boxes, you may as well specify the answer length, validate and require a certain date format, email address and number value.

    Net promoter® score

    This question should be used to measure how satisfied the customers are with the organization, services, products and brand.

    Ranking

    This option is used to ask the respondents to rank a selection of options. In most cases, dropdown menus are used for this purpose.
